Alas, good friend Annalise and I returned to the excellent homeland for a few days before our quest to Spain. 

We promise we didn't pack at the last minute.

It was a good time.

Then we ran around wild for the next few days and tried to soak up as much of California that we could before we had to take off.

I promise she was having a good time before we took that photo.

Now I'm off to Madrid for an incredible experience with some great friends.

Annalise can hardly wait.
